Routine network and service upgrades
Scheduled Maintenance Report for Bigleaf Networks
Postmortem

False Site Down Alerts:

As part of last night’s maintenance window, there was a loss of alarm data for about 15 to 30 minutes for some sites. Traffic continued to flow successfully, but false Circuit Down and Site Down alerts were sent out during that time. The exact time of the false alerts varies by site, and for a few sites this loss of alarm data occurred twice. We’re sorry we did not provide notice that this could occur, and we will aim to ensure that we do so for any similar future maintenance.
