The bulk of this window is for the deployment of key upgrades to our monitoring and alerting systems. The webapp, monitoring, and alerting will be down for extended periods during the upgrade window. Alerts will be resent for outstanding issues at the end of the maintenance window to ensure nothing is missed, which may result in duplicated alerts for any long-standing issues.

We will also be deploying core software upgrades to our network and a subset of customer routers. The expected impact from these core upgrades is several instances of packet loss lasting 5 to 10 seconds each.

Expected Impact: Several brief periods of packet loss lasting up to 10 seconds. Interruption of monitoring and alerts during the window with possible duplicate alerts after upgrade completion.
